On Thursday, 19th April 2018, 60 young people from all across the Diocese of Galway, Kilmacduagh & Kilfenora gathered in Croi Nua Spirituality Centre in Taylor’s Hill, Galway for a Pope John Paul II Celebration Day.

The day, which began with Mass celebrated by Bishop Brendan Kelly, Bishop of Galway, Kilmacduagh & Kilfenora, was a chance to celebrate the great work the young people have been doing in their parishes, schools and communities and to celebrate the faith which brought them to this award.
It was kindly facilitated by the Cork Net Ministries team and a great day of fun, faith and celebration was had by all! The schools involved were: Seamount Secondary School, Salerno Secondary School, Coláiste Bhaile Chláir, Mary Immaculate Secondary School, Lisdoonvarna, Scoil Mhuire, Ennistymon and Calasanctius College, Oranmore.
